Manastone-Woven Bag of Holding

This seemingly ordinary bag, usually crafted from sturdy canvas or leather, shimmers faintly with embedded Manastone fibers visible upon close inspection. The interwoven Manastone grants it enhanced durability and subtle magical properties beyond a standard Bag of Holding.

  • Wondrous Item, Rare

In addition to the standard properties of a Bag of Holding, a Manastone-Woven Bag of Holding gains the following enhancements:

  • Reinforced Weave: The Manastone fibers significantly strengthen the bag’s extradimensional space. It can now hold up to 750 pounds (instead of 500) and its internal volume expands to 96 cubic feet (instead of 64). The bag’s physical AC is 15 (instead of 11) and its Hit Points are 20 (instead of 10), reflecting its enhanced durability.
  • Mana Reservoir (3 Charges): The woven Manastone acts as a small magical battery. The bag has 3 charges, and it regains all expended charges daily at dawn. While holding the bag, you can expend 1 charge as a bonus action to gain 1d4 temporary hit points.
  • Mana-Sensitive Retrieval: When retrieving an item from the bag, if you use the Utilize action, you can imbue your thought with a pulse of mana from the bag. If the item you wish to retrieve is a magical item, you can automatically pull it to hand without needing to specifically reach for it, as if the bag itself were guiding your hand. This does not consume a charge.
  • Arcane Stabilization: Should the bag be pierced or torn, the Manastone weave attempts to stabilize the extradimensional tear. Instead of its contents being scattered to the Astral Plane, there is a 50% chance that the contents are instead ejected harmlessly into an unoccupied space within 30 feet of the bag. The bag is still destroyed in this event.
  • Minor Charge Transfer (Attunement only): If you are attuned to this specific Manastone-Woven Bag of Holding, once per long rest, you can transfer 1 charge from the bag to a single magical item you are holding that also has charges and is Uncommon rarity or lower. This does not allow the item to exceed its maximum number of charges.
